"I used these Mack's Hear Plugs for a recent John Mayer concert.  For past concerts, I have unsuccessfully used several different ear plugs. Typically with earplugs, the sound gets muffled, the sound seems distant and blocked, and the overall quality of the music lowers tremendously.
